Chili update: first seedlings spotted
Last week (7th of April) I planted the second batch of seeds (Cayennes, Scotch Bonnets and Jalapenos) so I’ve sown all seeds that I have and of which I know the variety. I have a packet of South African ‘hot chilli mix’ left which I’ll sow shortly too.
The batch that I planted first has started to sprout. I’ve spotted 5 or 6 seedlings and they grew 3 or 4 millimeters in one day yesterday. What probably helped was that yesterday was an unusually warm day for this early in April with temperatures going to 25 degrees C and up. Yay for global warming, I guess.
